Golden Anniversary Reunion
Celebrating 50 years since our graduation

INTRODUCTION

Dates: 1st - 3rd August 2011.

Venue: Telford International Centre, Telford, Shropshire UK and surrounding places of interest including the Iron Bridge Museum complex and RAF Air Museum Cosford.

Accommodation: 120 rooms have been reserved at the 'Telford Holiday Inn' and its adjacent sister hotel 'The International' which are situated at the International Centre, Telford, Shropshire.

The first evenings event is a private BBQ in the Holiday Inn Garden Patio and Conservatory. The second nights main function, the Celebration Dinner Dance, is being held in the International Conference Centre which is situated behind the International Hotel (2 minute walk).

International Hotel: All rooms have double beds - walk in shower - in-room tea & coffee maker and TV. Breakfast is a very substantial continental plus which includes Cereal, Fruit, Toast, Croissants, bacon/sausage baps, Tea, Coffee & Fruit Juices.

For a small supplement , Full English Breakfast is available at the Holiday Inn for a £6.95 / person / day supplement.

Members of our group who are staying in the International hotel have free access to the Holiday Inn bar, restaurant and Leisure Suite. The international has a small bar and lounge area.

**Breakfast is an all you can eat buffet style including - Full English Breakfast, plus Cereals, Toast, Fruit, Tea, Coffee & Fruit Juices.

The holiday Inn has a large restaurant with separate large bar, 3 lounges conservatory and outdoor patio area. Apart from the dinner dance evening, all our social gatherings will be held in the Holiday Inn.

The Event: This three day event is planned to coincide with our graduation dinner and dance which took place on the 2nd August 1961.

DAY 1 - Monday 1st August: Arrive in time for an easy going reception by your committee between 1400-1800. In the evening enjoy a private BBQ or Buffet (weather dependent) in the Terrace Restaurant, Patio and conservatory.

DAY 2 - Tuesday 2nd August: Chose to visit places of local interest during the day or simply relax in the Holiday Inn Leisure Suite.

In the evening our Celebration Dinner Dance will be held in the banqueting hall within the adjacent International Centre.

DAY 3 - Wednesday 3rd August: Check out day - why not spend the rest of the day at leisure with your friends or visiting one of the pre-arranged tourist attractions in the local vicinity. Use this time to visit either the RAF Air Museum or Ironbridge museums. An additional venue can be made for this day if demand is sufficient.

Pricing: The final pricing agreements with the international Centre and Museums mean that we are able to offer a choice of accommodation, cuisine and daytime activities. (see the online booking form)

The Hotel and Dinner Dance choices range from £110 for a single member attending the dinner dance and staying overnight and increasing in steps up to £280 for the full two person three day package (not including day trips).
